17.2% of Population
In 2010 the Conservative party swept to power with the support of 17.2% of the population. I was invited to make portraits at the resultant and victorious party conference later in the year. Champagne and hangovers were discussed by conference attendees as well as the excitement of standing next to William Hague in the bar. Talk of Andy Coulson’s involvement in phone hacking was not welcomed.
